Coming Home is an important motif throughout Scripture. Joshua led the people to the new home of the Promised Land. Nehemiah returned home to Jerusalem after the Exile to rebuild. Joseph and Mary travelled to their home town to be registered. Jesus told the parable of the Lost Son whose father welcomed him home with great celebrations. Home matters.
